Everything You Need to Know About Wytheville UFO Fest
In 1987, a wave of UFO sightings began in and around Wytheville, Virginia. From saucers to silent black triangles to ominous cubes, these mysterious craft were witnessed by thousands of residents. News reporter, Danny Gordon, was the first to break the story and was personally on site during many sightings. In response to the press reports on the UFO wave, the television series Unsolved Mysteries produced an episode dedicated to the strange occurrences in Southwest Virginia.
The first Wytheville UFO Fest marked the 35th anniversary of the beginning of this bizarre and mysterious series of events in 2022. Attendees of the 2024 fest will hear Danny Gordon recount his first-hand experience investigating the sightings along with other speakers, tons of vendors, contests, games, music, and fun for all ages. The event is free to the public.
